Chicago Academy for the Arts

Media Arts majors explore their vision within the following distinctive modes: as animators, writers, and digital motion picture makers.

The program includes classes in animation, poetry, fiction, screenwriting, cinemetography, and media design, as well as fictional, documentary, and experimental video.

“You guys are ahead of the curve. I was in college before I knew the difference between linear and non-linear films. This is an exciting high school. When you study the arts, you study life. I’ll be reviewing your films one day.”
– Roger Ebert, Film Critic
